Youth and Teens

You may be wondering ... what's happening at Peace Church this fall?  Well, just as you have been preparing for the start of the school year, we too have been busy getting ready for our reopening!

We are excited to share that for the next 3 years we will be exploring the theme:  CommUnity.  Love is the center of community, and so we'll kick off our fall and talk about what is means to love God and to be a community that loves God.  Then in January 2021, we'll be exploring what it means to love creation and the natural world.

We will be basing our curriculum for all ages on The Joyful Path, developed by Progressive Christianity.  This curriculum really helps kids to explore, learn, and question, developing their faith in ways that are relevant to our lives in the 21st century.  If you want to learn more about that curriculum, click here.

Our Church Council has been in full discussions around the COVID concerns and to keep everyone safe, we are requiring that masks be worn while indoors.  But this won't stop us from having fun and digging into understanding how we can celebrate our UNITY with community!

Registration is now open to get your child registered for this year's faith formation program.  For those with multiple children, only one form will need to be filled out - it only takes a few minutes.
