FAITH FORMATION
WHY CHOOSE FAITH FORMATION?
Faith formation provides opportunities for our children, youth, and teens to develop theological understandings and to experience Jesus' message.
WHO WE ARE
Peace United Church of Christ is under the umbrella of the Minnesota Conference United Church of Christ, located in Minneapolis Minnesota. We are part of the United Church of Christ denomination and we share the word of God and spread the love of Christ to all.
WHAT WE PROVIDE
Our philosophy is to create a safe environment where questions of exploring one's faith are welcome and freely asked. It also encourages opportunities to build positive inter-generational relationships that provide a strong Christian faith foundation. Special intentionality is made to weave each Sunday's theme together in all aspects of our Sunday Morning.
Our vision is to create an inter-generational community of disciples committed to social justice and radical hospitality which our faith formation curricula reflects.
WHAT TO KNOW

Adult Faith Formation begins at 10a in our Peace Room; monthly we schedule guest speakers.
Our Faith Formation Program will start up again in September 2022.

We have an active teen group that focuses on fun, spirituality, and service - intentional about fostering inter-generational life. We foster opportunities and look for appropriate
occasions for teens to participate with
Adult Faith Formation. For a list of scheduled activities, click here.
For our Elementary youth, we schedule monthly activities to engage in fun learning
and community. Click here for a list of our
Peace Kids events.

Teen Groups

This intentional program(for 7th - 8thgraders) allows youth to explore their faith, engage with the Bible, ask questions, learn about the church, build relationships with one another and develop connections with other adults - but more importantly have fun! This also involves a yearly mission trip.
